Aerial Gestures began with a feather and a macro lens.

What I thought would be a simple photographic study turned into a mild obsession.

The closer I looked, the stranger feathers became. Something that appears almost weightless reveals an astonishing level of complexity: structures within structures, softness combined with strength, order hidden inside apparent chaos.

What fascinated me most was the contradiction.

A feather looks fragile.

Yet it is capable of carrying a bird across continents.

The works in this series grew out of that observation.
