Drift Fields began with a single painting.

The rest is a conversation between paint, algorithms and my inability to leave things alone. I wasn't looking for a series. The series appeared anyway.

What interests me most is not what these images depict, but what they do. I can look at them for a long time without becoming tired of them. They seem to slow something down.

A friend recently hung one of the works in her apartment and told me the room felt calmer ever since.

I don't know whether that says something about the images or about us.
Perhaps both. Or perhaps we all need something to rest our eyes on from time to time.
